The Sari Closet team formed within the walls of UCLA Anderson School of Management. What started off as a business school project eventually turned into an idea we very much believe in. How many times did we hear a friend or family member complain about not knowing what to wear to the next wedding? Their closets were full of saris they had worn before, and they wanted something new without having to spend hundreds of dollars. So we decided to go for it. We shipped our resident “saristas” (as we like to call them) off to India to meet with fashion designers to bring back the latest designs to share with you.

We’re passionate about sharing our love of South Asian culture and hope that Sari Closet will allow you and your friends to experience a part of it.
